BUD funding provides financial assistance for HK enterprises to promote sales in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) market and Mainland China market by brand development, upgrading and restructure. Applicant may approve the cumulative funding ceiling of $4,000,000 up to 10 projects on a 1:1 matching basis. The applicant will have to contribute no less than 50% of the total project cost in cash.
The SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF) aims to encourage small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to expand their markets outside Hong Kong by providing financial assistance to SMEs for participation in export promotion activities.
The maximum grant for each successful application will be 50% of the total approved expenditure or $100,000, whichever is the less. There is no limit on the number of applications by an enterprise, each enterprise may receive EMF grants up to a cumulative limit of $800,000.
TVP funding subsidizes local enterprises (SMEs) in using tailor-made technological services and solutions to improve productivity, or upgrade or transform their business processes. Eligible applicant may approve the cumulative funding ceiling of $600,000 up to 6 projects on a 3:1 matching basis. In other words, government to provide around 75% of the actual projects cost on a reimbursement basis; the application will contribute no less than 25%.
ReTAAS minimizes retail manpower restriction by technology build-up or upgrade that enhance productivity and can improve workers working condition in retail industry. Eligible applicant can receive up to 50% of the project's expenditure. Each company can receive a total of HK$50,000 in funding to promote up to two projects.
